How it works
- A cord is 128 cubic feetStacked 4 ft high, 4 ft deep and 8 ft long.
- A face cord depends on the logsOne 4 by 8 ft row, as deep as the logs are long. With 16-inch logs it is a third of a cord.
- Fees count tooDelivery and stacking are added before the price is scaled up to a full cord.

Measure and stack
This compares amounts of wood, not its quality. A seller's "rick" or "face cord" can mean different sizes, so ask for the row length, height and log length.
